Michael has spent the last 25 years in and around the window cleaning, pressure washing, fall protection, and safety training industries. He previously owned and operated a successful company in Central Illinois that provided window cleaning and pressure washing services for storefront, residential, mid-rise, and high-rise buildings.
Michael has also been heavily involved with the IWCA for many years, including serving on the Board of Directors for a brief time and earning certification from the IWCA as a Rope Descent Specialist. In addition, he worked for a safety distributor, helping companies select the right safety equipment while also training employees on its proper use in the field.
Today, Michael is the founder of
Expert Safety Services, where he provides professional safety training, compliance support, job hazard analysis guidance, fall protection consulting, and industry-specific safety education for exterior cleaning companies and related trades. He is also an authorized anchor inspector and authorized trainer for several fall protection manufacturers, as well as an approved trainer for the IWCA.
Through
Expert Summit Anchors, Michael also supports building owners, property managers, contractors, and exterior service companies with anchor inspections, anchor certifications, load testing, fall protection assessments, and rooftop safety consulting for commercial and high-rise properties.
Michael currently serves as the Director of Education and Compliance for the PWNA, where he continues to help raise safety standards, improve education, and support contractors across the pressure washing and exterior cleaning industries.
